Normally real estate news isn’t on our radar – except when the property on the auction block is home to Orange County Choppers.
At 61,305 square feet, the building is a behemoth. OCC had it built for $12 million (U.S.) back when choppers were all the rage. Since then, the popularity of the style has waned and OCC has seen its fortunes fall, having lost control of the property in 2011 after failing to pay the mortgage. However, they remain tenants and recently signed a 10-year lease renting out about 60 percent of the building.
Want to have the boys of OCC as tenants? The property at 14 Crossroads Court in Newburgh, New York, is slated for auction on March 7 and bidding starts at a measly $900,000 (U.S.). Click here for more details.
