Canadian-born actor Dan Aykroyd will ride a Harley-Davidson in Victoria on Saturday to help raise money for a youth who is battling cancer.

Aykroyd will take part in a charity ride in Langford, B.C., from a local Harley dealership to a liquor store called Liquor Planet, where he will autograph bottles of vodka. Steve Drane Harley-Davidson will lend the actor a 2014 Street Glide for the event.

Zach Downey, 17, is fighting non-Hodgkins lymphoma, and the cancer is resisting treatment. The ride leaves from the Steve Drane dealership at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and the public is welcome to take part.

A beer-and-burger special at the Loghouse Pub, next door to Liquor Planet, will also raise funds for Downey.
