BMW Recalls 2007-2009 BMW G650Xs

By: Cycle Canada Published on 30 July 2010

Transport Canada has issued a recall for  BMW’s G650X single cylinder trio: the 2007 G650X Challenge and G650X Moto and the 2007-2009 G650X Country.

Here is what the recall notice says:

On certain motorcycles, the chain roll pin roller between the fuel tank and the top chain run could break. This may cause the rear wheel to lock up if fragments become lodged between the chain and the pinion, causing the potential for a crash. Correction: Dealers will repair the affected motorcycles.
