Portland, Oregon e-racing team MotoCzysz won the Isle of Mann TT Zero yesterday. Californian Mark Miller, lapped the mountain course aboard the team’s E1PC machine in a time of 23 minutes 22.89 seconds. His average lap speed of 96.82 mph (155.82 kph) was the fastest e-bike lap yet at IOM, but not enough to win the £10,000 bonus prize put up by the Isle of Man Government for the first TT Zero team to record a 100 mph (160.9 kph) lap.

Rob Barber, who won the Isle of Mann TTXGP last year, finished 1:58.30 off the pace in second on the Team Agni Z1 bike and was followed by James McBride on the ManTTx machine.

Of the ten machines entered in this year’s zero emissions event, only 5 managed to finish the race.
