Francisco Ali Manén (owner of LDK), received a call from a client from Mexico, who wanted a very special customized motorcycle and after a while of conversation the decision was made that it would be a Harley Davidson Vrod with a 330 wide rear wheel kit. .
To start the work, Fran Manen chose a Vrod Nightrod Special, a perfect base for this customization work and which also already comes standard with an inverted fork and has a powerful 120 horsepower engine.
A wide rear wheel kit has been installed for Harley Davidson with custom RC rims and a 330 wide rear tire. A new swingarm, transmission offset, shock absorber spacers and a Legend air suspension for vrod models are other details worth highlighting when modifying a Vrod like this.
Exhausts, license plate holder, body parts, fenders, seat and countless small elements are some of the components handcrafted by Lord Drake Kustoms for this VROD NIGHTROD 330.
Also noteworthy is that the brake discs and transmission pulley match the wheels…the LED taillight has been integrated into the fender.
The only indications that the client gave Fran Manen is that this VROD NIGHTROD 330 should be matte black and gold. Fran took the liberty of adding gloss black to the color palette and began to create the design so that the nerves of the entire body were highlighted and the gold color fit perfectly, without breaking the elegance of this customized Harley Davidson. .
It is worth highlighting the painting and airbrushing of this spectacular modified Harley, its golden lines, the dates with Roman numerals (all of them with a very special meaning) and a beautiful central shield below the odometer of this transformed Vrod that was at the request of the owner.
The seat upholstery has been made in black with diamond-shaped stitching with gold thread and shields engraved in aged brass have been added with the same logo as the air box cover.
