It is the new version of a true AIROH best seller, awaited by those who experience motorcycling in all its facets and forms, both on and off road. Commander 2 features renewed technical details, such as the shell materials and the introduction of the ASN (AIROH Sliding Net) and AEFR (AIROH Emergency Fast Release) systems to guarantee greater safety. The ventilation system and inner linings have also been renewed, for a superior comfort.
AIROH Commander 2 is presented as a release of a model that has become a must have for all adventure lovers. Its versatility of use allows it to respond to different needs in as many situations, guaranteeing all the consolidated technicality of the Italian brand.
In fact, the three possible configurations are confirmed: on/off, complete with peak and visor for road adventures, long journeys and daily commutes; naked, with visor but without peak for higher speeds on the asphalt; off road, without visor and suitable for off-road use, perhaps combined with the goggle.
Innovation to increase safety
With ECE 2206 approval, Commander 2 is aimed at a user who experiences motorcycling in different forms, both on the road and on dirt, for this reason, the helmet has technical features that guarantee the highest level of protection in the unfortunate case of impacts.
Starting from the material of which the outer shell is made, now available in three different sizes to respond even more to the various needs of fit, it is available in Composite Carbon (starting from 1440 g ±50 g) or in Full Carbon 6K (starting from starting from 1370 g ±50 g). Lightweight and resistant at the
same time, another novelty of Commander 2 is to provide ASN (AIROH Sliding Net) and AEFR (AIROH Emergency Fast Release) systems, the first one is made up of a particular 3D fabric structure that reduces the forces transmitted to the head in the case of impact, that second one indeed allows the quick cheek pads removal by rescuers in the case of emergency.
Last, but certainly not least, the DD Ring (double ring) retention system.
High performance and 360-degree vision
In Commander 2, the maximum attention of AIROH technicians is focused on the creation of a helmet that can truly respond best in every situation. A skillful combination of technicality and style, where the tests carried out during the product development phases were fundamental, especially those for thermoregulation, acoustics and aerodynamics, made inside the company’s wind tunnel. During them, details have been improved such as the peak, redesigned to discharge turbulence in an optimal way, and the ventilation system which now includes renewed air intakes, like the now adjustable upper vents.
The beauty of the journey is also losing your gaze on the panoramas you cross, Commander 2 features a manually controlled main visor that allows an Extra Wide vision with three possible opening positions, and a comfortable Sun Screen Visor integrated, of which it has been updated its drive system. Not to forget the locking mechanism with the A3S system (AIROH Automatic Antifog System). Finally, the Pinlock® 120XLT lens and double-length Stop Wind are included in the box, to exponentially increase riding pleasure.
Comfort and sophisticated design
Commander 2 is aimed at those who love long motorbike trips, for this reason it is characterized by refinements that offer great comfort during use, even in the most intense and prolonged ones. This is not only thanks to the ventilation system mentioned above, but also for being available in three different shell sizes to be able to respond to different cranial conformities and needs of fit, covering sizes from XS to XXXL.
In this new release the Inner linings have been revised: still hypoallergenic, removable and washable, they are made with high quality fabrics, such as the innovative Coolmax ®, and boast exclusive treatments that guarantee pleasantness to the touch and maximum breathability.
Particular attention is also paid to the new graphics and color variants, to underline the strong and impactful lines that characterize the Commander 2.
The predisposition for the Insertion of Bluetooth communication systems, revised and updated, completes the features of a helmet that Is configured as the ideal companion for long and exciting motorbike adventures.
