POURCEL PASSES 1ST PLACE IN THE LAST CORNER AND CLAIMS THE OVERALL WIN IN PRINCE GEORGE, BRITISH COLUMBIA Christophe Pourcel gave Canadian MX fans an emotionally charged show this past weekend in Prince George, British Columbia. In what some are calling the most unreal finish in Canadian moto ever, Pourcel passed 1st place to take the win in the second moto in the last corner of the race! Pourcel ran in 2nd place during the second moto of the day before making the epic pass much to the delight of the numerous spectators who were cheering him on the entire day.
“I came into the last corner wide open” stated Pourcel when asked to comment on how he managed the unreal pass at the last moment. When asked about what stood out in his mind during the Prince George race, Pourcel said “The fans were insane! They were so loud; I could hear them every time I went past the grand stands. It encouraged me to keep pushing right until the very end”
