Victory Unveils the 2013 Judge

By Cycle CanadaPosted on

Barely have we seen manufacturers’ new for 2012 motorcycles when Victory comes along and introduces the Judge, its first new model for 2013. Billed as an “all-new” stripped down cruiser with “dynamic muscle bike styling,” the Judge is a new addition to Victory’s cruiser platform and powered by the same air-cooled fuel injected Freedom 106/6 V-Twin as the rest of its motorcycles; here boasting 113 ft-lbs of torque (horsepower figures have not been disclosed). Much of the bike’s chassis and componentry are also standard Victory cruiser fare, but what’s new on the Judge is the addition of drag bars and bodywork intended to evoke the spirit of ’70s muscle cars. Also newly designed are the taillight, fender struts and EFI covers between the cylinders. Adding to the Judge’s retro ethos are new 16-inch, 5-spoke cast wheels shod with Dunlop Elite II tires with raised white lettering, “evok[ing] memories of performance mag wheels seen at race tracks in the 70’s,” says Victory. With its controls positioned rearwards and a seat height of only 658 mm (25.9″), coupled with a low centre of gravity, the Judge is ideal for riders of modest inseam, adds Victory (though we have to say its dry weight of 300 kg might be a deterrent for some smaller pilots).

The 2013 Victory Judge will be available starting in April 2012; in gloss black (slimming) for $15,299, or suede nuclear sunset (orange) or sunset red (red) for $15,749. Full specs are below.
