Mission Motors Unveils the Mission R

By Cycle CanadaPosted on

Mission Motorcycles has just unveiled their latest zero emissions superbike, the Mission R, which they say is the world’s most advanced electric racing motorcycle. The R’s liquid-cooled AC Induction motor in concert with a MissionEVT 100kW controller produces a claimed 140 hp and 115 ft-lb of torque to propel the all-new e-bike to a claimed top speed of 257 km/h (160 mph). The R features customizable regenerative braking maps and throttle maps, and all vehicle and ride data is accessible via WiFi or 3G connections. The chassis begins with a RADD-designed quad-Element aluminum and chrome-moly frame rolling on 17” Marchesini forged magnesium wheels. Suspension is comprised of fully adjustable Öhlins components and a single-sided aluminum swingarm, and brakes are by Brembo.

Pricing and availability for the custom-made machine has yet to be announced and there’s also no mention from Mission on how far or long the R can run on a single charge.
